BPA State Contest Fees

Hello to all BPA state kids and parents.

I have given each of the students what they owe to go to state. This money is due by Thursday January 31, 2008

Also the BPA Polo shirt money is also due. That is $15.00 per child.

If you do not know what your child owes, as they have not told you, please e-mail me at rhalberstadt@portage.k12.in.us and I will email you back with the amount.

If you (parent) would like a BPA polo shirt $15.00 or a BPA State T-Shirt $6.00 Please contact me with your name and shirt size. The Polo shirts are available now, and the T-shirt will arrive to you when we return in March.

BPA state - Leave Sunday March 16, 2008 - 5 am at Portage High School East Front - Door C.
Return Tuesday - 2:30 at Portage High School East - Front Door - Door C.

Fundraiser money update

As of Today - we have made about 500.00 from our 2 fundraisers.

Thank you to the students who sold at least $60.00 of wood roses.
Thank you to the students who sold at least 10 tickets for the dinner.

Those students who make it to state this weekend, will benifit a little from the fundraiser efforts.

Also thank you to the parents who helped me last Friday, and to all the PHS Business teachers that helped out at the dinner.

Good luck to the students that are going to BPA District 1 Contest. Results will be posted here next week.

Saturday - Jan 19, 2008

Time table.
Students and chaperones must be to the front of Portage High School East at 7:15 am.

We will return by 4 pm to the same location

Family come to Chesterton High School Door 31 - for the awards ceremony at 1:45

Students will wear - black dress pants, or black skirt ONLY
Red BPA Shirt that they will get on Friday or Sat.

Black dress shoes. NO TENNIS SHOES

Bring money for lunch.

Hello everyone. I have ordered the shirts and they will be here by the time of Contest - Sat. the 19th.

The cost is $15.00 - cash or check. Check payable to Portage High School.

Spaghetti Dinner Help needed

All parents are students are needed at PHS on Friday Jan. 11, 2008 for the Spaghetti dinner.

Parents only are allowed in the kitchen. Kids will work the ticket table and help in the dining room.

I could use all your help.

District Contest - Sat. Jan. 19 2008

Hello everyone - Parents included.
Please have your child at Portage High School by 7:15 am Sat. Jan. 19, 2008 We are heading to Chesterton High School for BPA District Contest.

We will be having lunch at a restaurant in Chesterton - Please make sure you child has money for this.

At 2 pm you are all invited to the CHS - Auditorium - Door 31 - for the awards ceremony. Please come and cheer on your son or daughter and the rest of the PHS team.
